It is hard to believe that the Benefit is in less than two weeks!
Last year our time line worked really well, so we are only making minor adjustments.
A few things first.
*We still have a couple of costumes that are being completed and will have hairpieces for a couple of costumes at Durham Arts Council.
*We NEED YOUR SILENT AUCTION/RAFFLE items by this Friday, Monday at the latest. As of now, we have one Dulce’ gift card. That’s it.
* We have some cards that need to be updated in the system, please do that ASAP! Thanks!
3:00– Arrive at Durham Arts Council– Dancers need to be dropped off with ALL Of their costumes, etc. PLEASE COME WITH HAIR & MAKEUP ALREADY DONE
ALL HAIR WILL NEED TO BE IN A LOW BUN WITH A PART AND NO BANGS. It needs to be slicked back and pulled tight J
No Parents Backstage. We will help them with touch-ups, etc.
3:30-5:30- Dress rehearsal
Dancers may bring a book, ipad, etc. while we go through the dress rehearsal process. It should go fairly quickly, but we will have an opportunity for some lights, etc.
5:30-6:00 Dinner (pizza and water, we don’t want them to eat too much before dancing, but they do need to eat! If someone would like to donate a veggie tray and some fresh fruit and a case of water that would be great!) We don’t want anything we need silverware for.
6:00-7:00 touch up hair and makeup and get ready for the show
6:00- 6:20 sound check for singers (we have a couple of people singing to be time fillers and allow for not such quick changes.
After the benefit, we will send dancers to the the lobby for a meet and greet and to see families, then they may return to their dressing rooms to collect their belongings.
WHAT WE NEED:
We need 2 ticket takers before the show. The doors will open at 6:30. We would like you there at 6:15.
We would also like 2 people to pass out programs, you would also need to be there by 6:15.
